Dreads confirmed: IS tries to penetrate into Georgia

The Georgian secret services are engaged in clarifying information provided by the Georgian users in regards to the website that promotes the «Islamic State» (the organization prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation). This was stated by Deputy Director of State Security Service of Georgia Levan Izoria.

IS is dangerous everywhere, for everyone, and the site can be created anywhere in the world and run in the Georgian language. It is not yet confirmed, that terrorists are in the territory of Georgia, — says Achiko Chkoidze, leader of the coalition of non-governmental organizations «Eurasian choice of Georgia».

«Refugees are much more dangerous for Georgia,» Achiko Chkoidze told RUSARMINFO.

There is a possibility that the Government of Georgia, on the recommendation of the EU, may receive about 1,500 people from Syria, and taking into account the views of the pro-Western Georgian government, the EU recommendations will be implemented, — says the leader of the «Eurasian choice of Georgia».

«Peaceful people don’t make problems, but some of them may be terrorists. The Georgian secret services have to keep tight control,” adds Chkoidze.

Note: According to the unofficial information, among the adepts of the «Islamic State» terrorist organization, which is operating mainly in Syria and Iraq, and prohibited in Russia, there are a lot of fighters from Georgia and Azerbaijan.
