Azerbaijani hospitality: Armenians booed, Austrians knocked down VIDEO

At the European Games opening ceremony in Baku on Friday (June 12), the stadium audience welcomed the national team of Armenia with booing. The stadium, mainly crowded by Azerbaijanis, started booing when the Armenian athletes walked through the stadium holding the national flag. Despite the whistles, the head of the Armenian delegation, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Hrachya Rostomyan proudly carried the flag of the republic. Note that the heads of states attending the opening ceremony witnessed the aggressive reaction of the stadium. There is no information on how Ilham Aliyev explained the Azerbaijanis attitude to the senior guests. At the opening of the games took part Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Prince of Monaco Albert II, Head of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach. The European Games will be remembered as a tragedy for the Austrian athletes who were rammed in Baku by a local bus driver. Three representatives of the Austrian synchronized swimmers’ group — Vanessa Sakhinovich, Luna Pazher and Verena Breit,- were injured. All of them received injuries and fractures of varying severity. Sakhinovich and Pazher were immediately sent to Vienna. Vanessa Sakhinovich is in the worst condition, in the state of artificial coma. Note that the first European Games are held in Baku from June 12 to 28.
