Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will take part in the Riga summit in the framework of the EU «Eastern Partnership» program which will be held on May 21-22. This was stated by the head of the RPA parliamentary faction Vahram Baghdasaryan, reports «Novosti-Armenia». «All the details on the visit will be known after today’s meeting of the RPA Executive Body. These issues are not discussed yet, it’s only decided that the president will attend the summit, » said Baghdasaryan. According to him, such summits and meetings indicate that the membership in the EEC does not mean that Armenia’s relations with the EU will be terminated. «We express our readiness to any economic cooperation, which does not interfere with our existing agreements,» said Baghdasaryan.
