Armenia and Microsoft expand their cooperation

The Government of Armenia and the «Microsoft» company signed several agreements on the development of information technologies in Armenia, protection of intellectual property rights, data security and long-term cooperation in the field of innovation. These documents focus on the creation of a regional center of cloud and mobile solutions in Armenia based on the experience of the Microsoft Innovation Center.  At the meeting with Don Grantham, President of «Microsoft» in the Central and Eastern Europe, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan highly appreciated the cooperation with the company in the sphere of information technologies and expressed willingness to expand it. Abrahamyan has also stressed that the development of IT is in the focus of the Armenian government, and the annual growth of 25% in this area is due to the good work of the leading companies of Armenia in this sphere. In his turn, Don Grantham expressed the interest of «Microsoft» in expanding the cooperation and development of IT sphere in Armenia.
