Sergei Naryshkin will visit Turkey on April 24
Russian Federation State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin will visit Turkey next week, where he will take part in events to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Gallipoli. This was reported by RIA News. «The next week I was fortunate to be in Turkey, this time in Istanbul to participate in the celebration of the century Dardanelles operation,» — said Sergey Naryshkin during the meeting with the head of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Cemil Cicek. Turkey is trying to hide the fact of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire, as well as to divert world attention from the events dedicated to 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide by promoting events for the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Gallipoli. The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan invited his Turkish counterpart Rejep Tayip Erdogan’s visit Yerevan on April 24, 2015 and to take part in the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. In turn, Erdogan invited Sargsyan to take part in the celebration of the Battle of Gallipoli.
