Aleksandr Knobel: Armenia is not mentioned in the list of potential members of the Currency Union.

Alexandr Knobel  — head of the International Trade Laboratory of the Gaidar Institute for Economic policy I am surprised that we discuss the Currency union issue within the EACU, but in the press it’s written about the Currency union between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Armenia is not mentioned in the list of potential members of the Currency Union.  We are not ready for the Currency union with both Armenia and Kazakhstan. This question is out of the economic plane, it is only possible to guess.
